Flap Valves
Fernco have a complete range of Flap Valves for any application.
They are designed to a high-quality standard, ready to defend environments, homes and properties against rising water levels.
The HDPE material makes them lighter weight than traditional cast iron flap valves, leading to easier installation and lower installation costs. The high strength HDPE material will withstand being struck by rocks and other debris present in marine and river environments, which could shatter lighter weight plastics.
This newly designed Flap Valve has an innovative co-extrusion seal making installation quicker and easier due to additional tapes or sealants not being needed. With regular inspection and appropriate maintenance, they will have a 50 year life expectancy.
Non-return Valves
Fernco’s Retrofit NRV’s can be fitted in seconds and do not require any specialist expertise or equipment. Users also benefit from protection against rodent infestation.
Part of their new Fernco Flood Protection range, NRV’s can be installed in new or old chambers.

Fernco’s Non-return valves allow sewer or surface water materials to freely flow in the direction of the systems mains but block backflow of those materials in the opposite direction in instances, such as, flooding.
Fernco Icon Pushfit
Icon Pushfits can be installed in 30 seconds or less to create a watertight connection on any pipe material, they have superior joint stability compared to external couplings.
Fernco manufactures a wide range of couplings that connect rainwater and wastewater pipelines using the internal surface, these are called ‘Icon’ (internal connection) couplings.
Traditionally, flexible couplings connect to the outside of the pipelines; when this connection is made in accordance with the above-mentioned standards, a joint gap is required between the connecting pipes, this is to allow for any angular deflection which may be caused by subsequent ground movement. This gap has been found to negatively affect the natural flow of a sewer system. The use of an Icon internal coupling removes this issue, by creating a smooth transition which improves the flow of materials.
Fernco has found that with the introduction of features such as tapered edges, which allow angular misalignment, but maintain a smooth pipe transition and with the use of highly engineered plastics for improved shear support/ deformation resistance, the Icon coupling can improve flow and sewer hydraulics when compared to conventional external pipe connections.
Multibush
The Fernco Multibush is a foldable bush that adapts to three thicknesses and thus suiting multiple connection scenarios.
Available as a DN100, DN150 and DN200. Each size gives the user the ability to connect any two pipe materials of the same nominal diameter, thus reducing different configurations of stock required and improving reaction to unforeseen connection requirements.
